"BOTOX®" is aregistered trademark of Allergan (now AbbVie). So products from Korea, Germany, the UK and other makersshould be called "botulinum toxin", not "Botox". Our price list and articles follow this rule.

Both can be used for any area. Rather than one being better, the right product depends on where and how much you treat, and how often and on what budget you want to maintain results.
What to know when choosing a Korean product
Allergan BOTOX® has been used longer and more widely than any other product since its 1989 US FDA approval. Its strength is thatits effect is predictable and suits fine adjustment of expression muscles. Korean products costabout half, and one (Nabota) showed results equivalent to Allergan's in a frown-line clinical trial. But real-world experience is shorter, and because products differ in spread and onset,some people feel the effect was stronger or spread more than expectedin some reported cases.
This does not always happen — most people get good results.The risk is not high, but it is not zero— keep that in mind and choose with your budget. Among Korean products,Nabota (US FDA approved as Jeuveau®), designed with the same 900 kDa complex as Allergan's, is rated highly by our doctors for stability and controlled spread.
Even within botulinum toxin, price reflects quality (stability and duration). Products with a longer history and more data cost more, but tend to give more stable, longer-lasting results. Choose what fits your goal and budget.
If stable results are your top priority,Allergan BOTOX® with an experienced doctoris the most reliable choice. Results do not come just from injecting —they depend on planning the area, dose and angle around each product. - A. With the right area and units, you can expect good results. One product showed improvement equivalent to Allergan's in a frown-line trial. Duration tends to be slightly shorter.
- Q2. Is there downtime?
- A. For both: needle marks, mild redness and occasional bruising, usually settling within a few days and easy to cover with makeup the same day. Effects start in 3–4 days and settle in about 2 weeks.
- Q3. Can I switch products later?
